Additive Manufacturing

Fusion3 3D Printers

Fusion3® Industrial 3D Printers

Made in the USA. Built for secure, high-tempo military manufacturing on a GPC.

Bring additive manufacturing inside the wire without sacrificing speed, accuracy, or information security. Fusion3’s U.S.–made printers combine high-temperature performance, tight tolerances, open-materials flexibility, and security-first workflows—including “secure” configurations that operate on local networks with locked external interfaces.

Why Fusion3 for DoD & Government

  • U.S.–designed, manufactured, and supported with NDAA section 889 compliant components. EDGE secure version available with Ethernet-only networking, locked USB, and offline software activation.
  • Security-focused architecture: core functions run without cloud services; data stays on your local network. Optional notifications/remote access can be disabled.
  • High-temperature, engineering-grade outputs: passively heated enclosures up to ~70 °C, bed temps up to 140–145 °C, print heads up to 320 °C—ideal for ABS, ASA, PC, nylon, and more.
  • Open-materials philosophy: 150+ compatible filaments; Fusion3 certifies profiles so units print successfully “out of the box.”
  • Emissions management for offices/classrooms: HEPA + carbon filtration (recirculating) and door interlock on EDGE; F200 filter removes VOCs/PM2.5 with 95% effectiveness.
  • U.S. support with long warranties and lifetime technical assistance.

Model Overview

Fusion3 EDGE – Large-format, secure, production-grade

  • Build volume: 355 × 355 × 365 mm (1.64 ft³). Enclosure to ~70 °C for ABS/PC quality at size.
  • Speed & accuracy: “F-Series” motion system with linear rails; standard settings achieve high visual quality and tight tolerances; “Fast” mode ~200 mm/s (0.4 mm head).
  • ANVIL print head: surgical-steel tube resists wear with abrasive filaments; easier, lower-cost maintenance. Max melt temp 320 °C.
  • Secure Version: Ethernet-only, locked USB, no features that communicate beyond the device; offline license activation; Section 889 compliant.
  • Extras for workplaces: optional internal HEPA+carbon filter, door interlock, ~37.5 dB quiet operation.
  • Support & warranty: U.S. helpdesk (extended weekday hours) and 2-year standard warranty.

Best for: Labs and units needing large, engineering-grade parts; programs with strict OPSEC requirements.

Fusion3 F200 – Compact, high-temp workhorse with on-device AI

  • High-temperature performance: print head 320 °C, chamber ~70 °C, bed 140 °C—enables unadulterated ABS/ASA/PC with dimensional stability.
  • Throughput: dimensionally accurate parts at 250+ mm/s, with max 500 mm/s capability; all-metal chassis & linear rails.
  • AI print monitoring: on-printer camera detects “spaghetti,” lifting, and runout; runs locally (no cloud), pauses/alerts as configured.
  • Emissions: recirculating HEPA + carbon filtration; maintenance timer.
  • Build volume: 256 × 256 × 256 mm; 5” LCD; Wi-Fi/Ethernet/USB with local-only operation by default.
  • Best for: Distributed makerspaces, classrooms, and field shops needing secure, fast, small-to-medium parts with minimal supervision.

Materials & Mission Use Cases

Certified profiles across ABS, ASA, nylon, PC, PETG, TPU/TPE, carbon-/glass-fiber-reinforced blends, and more; select metals and PVDF with EDGE magnetic bed and specific surfaces.

Typical parts: jigs/fixtures, UAV/UGV airframes and fairings, comms mounts, sensor shrouds, training aids, custom cases/inserts, replacement brackets, and repair parts.

Deployment & Procurement Notes

Operate fully air-gapped if required (secure configurations and local-only workflows).

Right-sized fleet: Mix EDGE (large parts) and F200 (distributed throughput) to maximize output per dollar and reduce schedule risk.

Sustainment: wear-resistant ANVIL print head, linear-rail motion systems, recirculating filters, and certified material profiles reduce rework and downtime.
